Dissertation evaluation results of the BIT final year project evaluation 2018 have been published in the Results Section of the BIT website. Students can check the status of his/her dissertation evaluation by login into (http://www.bit.lk/index.php/results/).
Students have to follow below instructions based on their category.
Amend all the corrections and improvements suggested by the dissertation examiner and keep the final version of the dissertation to be ready to print for the hardbound submission. Details of the hardbound copy is described in the section 3.5 of the projects guideline 2018. Deadline to submit the hardbound copy will be enounced later.
Amend all the corrections and improvements suggested by the dissertation examiner and upload the improved dissertation (ONLY the PDF version) to “Dissertation Correction Submissions” in the project VLE on or before the 26th of January 2019. File Name of the Dissertation MUST be the index number of the student.
For example, if the student index number is “1234567” the file name should be 1234567.pdf
You are required to face for another round of dissertation evaluation, which will be held at UCSC on Saturday, 26th of January 2019. You are required to pay the dissertation correction fee of Rs. 2,000/= to the Peoples Bank on or before 25th of January 2019 and bring paid voucher on 26th. (Student should tick “Other Fee” in the payment voucher for the dissertation correction fee). Contact the EDC office for more details about the payment.
When you are coming for the dissertation correction, you MUST bring both corrected dissertation (spiral bind hardcopy) and the previous evaluated dissertation. (Do not forget to bring BIT ID, original client certificate and original declaration page of the dissertation as well).
The dissertation re-evaluation will be conducted at the UCSC, 35, Reid Avenue, Colombo 7 on the 26th of January 2019 and you should be at the registration desk between 8.30 to 9.30am.
